NUST Law Moot Society
The NUST Law Moot Society was established in 2020 and has made a name for itself within and outside the university premises as a vibrant and dynamic community that brings together passionate law students to hone their advocacy skills. It is a platform that identifies and trains promising students for intellectual growth and practical learning. It also offers students the opportunity to delve into complex legal issues, craft compelling arguments, and present their cases before esteemed judges by participating in national and international mooting competitions. Through intensive preparation, participation in mock trials, and exposure to diverse legal scenarios, the NUST Law Moot Society helps students to develop critical thinking, research, and public speaking abilities that are essential for success in the legal field. Beyond its educational value, the society fosters a sense of camaraderie and teamwork, as students collaborate to achieve excellence in competitive moot court competitions. NLS Team Qualified for Global Rounds in Boston, USA
The NUST Law School team has achieved remarkable success, winning 1st Place at the MENA Regional Rounds after securing the Runner-Up position in the Pakistan National Rounds. The team also received awards for Best Oralist (Aishmal Sami Khan) and Best Memorial for Claimant. They will now represent Pakistan at the prestigious Global Rounds in Boston, USA — a proud moment for NLS!
