Guest Lecture by Mr Jussi Eskelinen

“Mr. Jussi Eskelinen, Director HR at Qvantel Finland (a leading software company with national and international operations), visited NUST Law School and had a guest session with the students on Corporate Social Responsibility. The session highlighted the law and practice in the context of Finland and the European Union giving the students a chance to compare the same with Pakistan’s laws and practice. Key Company Law topics such as sustainability, due diligence, the rights of the employees, equality, etc were also discussed with a comparative lens.

Mr. Eskelinen also visited NUST Science and Technology Park and was briefed by the program manager on its operations, achievements, and potential. He was also warmly welcomed by the Deputy Director of NUST Central Library who introduced him to the dedicated facilities and resources provided therein. At the end of the visit, HoD Law, Dr. Muhammad Asim Iqbal presented the esteemed guest with a shield. Mr. Eskelinen thanked NUST Law School for the hospitality and appreciated the learning facilities at NUST.”
